Where it loses: slabs are attach-only disks for an existing BuyVM VPS — you cannot buy storage alone; capacity sits on enterprise HDDs with NVMe cache rather than raw NVMe; and the footprint is three datacenters (Las Vegas, New Jersey, Luxembourg). A great cheap-disk play, a different product from a root NVMe server.

3. FlokiNET — 7.1/10

Where it wins: strong privacy culture (cash-by-mail, Monero, no KYC by default) with VPS plans in Iceland and Romania that carry generous disks.
