Is offshore hosting legal?

Yes, as a server rental paid in cryptocurrency. No, that does not legalize the content you put on the disk.

The contract

Buying KVM or a leased server from a foreign company is ordinary cross-border commerce. KYC rules that apply to banks and VASPs do not automatically apply to a server shop in a jurisdiction that does not require ID for hosting. Paying with Bitcoin or Monero is legal in most places that allow you to hold those assets. We are not a money transmitter for your downstream users.

The content

You remain liable for what you run. Offshore is structural distance from some civil processes, not a cloak of invisibility and not a license for CSAM, fraud, or attacks. A no-KYC VPS paid in crypto is still a computer you are responsible for.

The honest limit

Your home country can still investigate you. Payment trails, operational IP, and the site itself are separate layers. Read the AUP before you order. If the project is crime, do not buy here; paying in Monero will not make the AUP vanish.

Do you require a passport?

No.

Do you require a phone number?

No.
